Lake Kalibari was established by Sree Sree Haripada Chakroborty on 13th April, 1949 and during his lifetime he maintained the same temple and performed the Tantakkriya for the solace of hundred thousand of people those who approached him during their hour of need and prior to his demise he appointed and nominated Sri Netai Chandra Basu as Executor cum sole Sebait by his last Will dated 11/12/1985 read with Codicil dated 14/06/1987 and since he is devoting his life for the benevolence of mankind at large who are assembling before him with grace of Divine Mother Karunamoyee Kailmata, popularly known as Lake Kalibari.

 
As Founder Sree Sree Gurudev could not undertake the renovation and/or reconstruction of the Temple, the present Sebait, as desired by the founder Gurudev has framed a scheme for the said renovation and/or reconstruction of the Temple. The regular associates among the devotees under the guidance of the present Sebait Sri Netai Chandra Basu constantly  approaching the devotees, disciples and well wishers for all round  cooperation and donation in the matter of implementation of the project.
 
At present the said Lake Kalibari is being managed and administered by Sri Netai Chandra Basu the sole Sebait with assistance of a Advisory Committee consisting of three (3) members as desired by Gurudev – Sree Sree Haripada Chakroborty.

 
The donation and contribution so made to Sree Sree 108 Karunamoyee Kalimata Mandir (Lake Kalibari) at 107/1, Meghnad Saha Sarani, Kolkata – 700 029, West Bengal, India enjoins facilities available under section 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961. For foreign contribution Govt. of India in the meantime has also given clearance for the said purpose.
